It’s been a minute! As fall is in full swing here in the Northern Hemisphere and winter is just around the corner, we thought we’d find ways to cozy up and brighten the days together to combat our longing for sun in the late evenings and tropics!

So, we’re proposing more regular meetups this fall/winter, and hopefully more in the new year!

We have a running list of Vietnamese films gathered from Viet Hangs community input to choose from. More recommendations are also very welcome!

In anticipation of Ocean Vuong’s talk at The Chan Centre next year, the book for this meet up’s discussion is The Emperor of Gladness.

Ahead of the holidays, here’s a meetup to socialize and be merry! Think Vietnamese snacks, music, and activities (TBD), but you can safely assume I’ll bring crafting supplies!

No RSVP required - just show up :) These are intended to be casual hangs that we shape together 🫶🫂.

We’ll send a little reminder via email a few days before each gathering with helpful details, wayfinding info, and to coordinate what to bring or share.
